Zulvera
Zulvera is an all natural herbal shampoo produced in India. The creators of Zulvera give a general outline on hair loss and say that all natural ingredients and herbs produce stronger hair roots and revitalize hair follicles so that they can begin to grow hair once again.
These new and fortified hair follicles will then have the power to endure chemical imbalances in the body and ward off harmful particles and dirt that accumulates on the scalp. We must assume then that Zulvera will keep the scalp clean and generate an environment conducive to hair growth.
Ingredients in Zulvera
The ingredients in Zulvera are interesting. There are many ingredients that don't seem to have anything to do with hair loss treatment such as coltsfoot (among others), which is said to be a cough remedy and a mouth and throat anti-irritant.
Other ingredients make sense such as:
Arnica: Arnica is used in scalp tonics, anti dandruff preparations, hair loss control shampoos, perfumes and cosmetics.
Bay leaf: Bay leaves are used in aromatherapy to treat dandruff, poor circulation, oily skin and sprains.
Birch: Birch revitalizes the scalp and is used for hair loss treatment and to soothe the scalp.
Chamomile: This is used in a wide variety of shampoos and conditioners. It soothes the skin and scalp.
Nettle: Nettle extract may inhibit the creation of DHT, which causes hair loss. This produces more hair and also helps with circulation in the scalp area.
Saw Palmetto: This herb is famous for being the most powerful DHT blocker. Saw Palmetto prevents cells from absorbing DHT.
Buying Zulvera
Compared to shampoos that you can purchase in the supermarket or pharmacy Zulvera is expensive, about $15 a bottle for a six month purchase (this is a special price). Compared to other hair loss treatments it's not that expensive.
The questions surrounding Zulvera focus on the ingredients and the lack of information on how this product works. The Zulvera website gives a general synopsis on hair loss but never confronts the question of how Zulvera stops hair loss. If you want to purchase this product you should contact the manufacturers first and ask for an explanation. Also consider our FDA approved Editor's Choice for Hair Loss Treatment.
